Management Framework

Madrassa History Sunday Madrassa was formed almost 20 years ago to build a stronger Muslim community by imparting knowledge of the Islamic principles. Its beginnings were humble. Starting with less than 20 students of varying ages it has today grown to an attendance of over 250 . These students range in age from 4 years to 18 years and are spread between grades starting from pre-kindergarten through 10th.

Madrassa Vision

The Vision of this Madrassa is to educate the students in the teachings of Islam based upon the Holy Qur’an, Seerah, Sunnah and Hadith. Madrassa Challenges This growth has brought its own challenges. Some of these include:

  • Class space
  • Qualified teachers
  • Adequate curriculum, books and student assessment
  • Volunteer workers to manage the Madrassa activities
  • Management of the lunch program
  • Space for sports
  • Lack of social programs
  • Lack of parent participation in planning

Management Framework for Sunday Madrassa

Realization of these challenges has galvanized the managing team into action to solve these issues. Many steps have been taken to ensure successful operation of the program. However, much more needs to be done to ensure a blossoming growth. Proper planning and powerful execution is needed. To this end a management framework has been prepared, and posted here for the community review and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
